The paper submitted by plastic surgeons Evangelos Keramidas and Villy Rodopoulou was accepted for publication by the high-standard PRS journal (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), a prestigious scientific review. The paper was titled “Radiofrequency-assisted Liposuction for Neck and Lower Face Adipodermal Remodeling and Contouring”.

PRS is the most acclaimed and prestigious international magazine on Plastic Surgery. It aims at informing plastic surgeons around the world on all latest trends in the field of aesthetic and plastic surgery.

Mr Keramidas was invited to participate in the 23^rd ISAPS meeting in Kyoto, Japan from 23 to 27 October. This is the biggest and most established international meeting on aesthetic and plastic surgery held every two years with the participation of more than 2500 aesthetic plastic surgeons from all over the world.

It is a great honour to be invited to participate in such a prestigious event. Mr. Keramidas presented two new papers on 1) a ground-breaking abdominoplasty technique titled "A 5-Steps No Drain Technique Based on Progressive Tension Sutures for High Definition Abdominoplasty. A Review of 173 Cases" and 2) handling tuberous breasts. The paper is titled "One Stage Correction of Hypoplastic Tuberous Breast with the Muscle Splitting Dual Plane Breast Augmentation Technique and the Northwood Index"

Further to an invitation, Mr. Evangelos Keramidas became a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

A new international scientific paper on "Planning augmentation mastopexy: A review of 255 cases and proposed algorithm" was presented by Mr. Evangelos Keramidas during the ISAPS Course held in Mykonos from June 2^nd to June 4^th 2016.

Mr. Keramidas was invited to participate in the 11^th National Congress of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery held in Thessaloniki:

1) He took part in a round table on "Correcting problems after breast augmentation "

Mr Keramidas presented surgical techniques for the correction of unwanted results after breast augmentation, such as tuberous breasts, double-bubble deformity, implant misplacement, capsular contracture etc.

US plastic surgeons Dennis Hammond, Onelio Garcia and Evangelos Keramidas presented difficult breast augmentation cases and suggested techniques for correction.

2) He presented his personal "No touch-no pain" technique for breast augmentation as well as his original paper "Travelling hours after breast augmentation; How safe can it be?" The study followed 284 patients who travelled within less than 24 hours after breast augmentation surgery over a period of 10 years and a total of 1485 breast augmentation procedures or 2970 silicone implants. The study is still under way and has been characterized as ground-breaking by Prof. Foad Nahai during the San Francisco 2014 meeting.

3) Mr. Keramidas presented his third scientific paper on a new abdominoplasty procedure. Mr. Keramidas presented his dual plane tunnel technique for abdominoplasty that is drain-free and pain-free. The procedure involves no drains and introduces a new technique for the preparation and elevation of the abdominal walls allowing the surgeon to perform the procedure without any pain or bleeding.

Mr. Keramidas shared this new technique with his fellow Greek and foreign colleagues during the meeting that was held in Thessaloniki from November 5 to November 7.

Magical Cannes hosted the Annual Conference of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS 2015) from 24-26 September 2015 and Mr. Keramidas presented a series of surgical techniques (algorithm) for achieving optimum nasal lines during rhinoplasty. The paper titled "An algorithm for nasal dorsum reshaping" was presented for the second time in an international congress.

During the BAPRAS Winter Scientific Meeting held in Birmingham on 25-27 November 2015, Mr. Keramidas presented a surgical technique for mastopexy procedures. In particular, he presented a new algorithm for choosing the right breast lifting technique depending on the degree of breast sagging. Mr. Keramidas presented 5 different methods of handling one of the most difficult situations in breast reshaping.

Two new techniques were presented by Mr. Keramidas on January 30^th & February 1^st 2015 during the Aesthetic Surgery World Congress held in Paris from  January 29^th to February 1^st:

On Monday 24 November 2014, upon invitation by Professor George K. Kreatsas, Chief of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Unit of the University of Athens at “Aretaieio” Hospital and former Chairman of Athens Medical School, Mr. Keramidas visited “Aretaieio” Hospital and gave a lecture on the new non-touch no-pain technique in breast augmentation that was first presented during the World Congress of Aesthetic Surgery held in Brazil in September 2014.
