The study followed 284 patients who travelled within less than 24 hours after breast augmentation surgery over a period of 10 years and a total of 1485 breast augmentation procedures or 2970 silicone implants. The study is still under way and has been characterized as ground-breaking by Prof. Foad Nahai during the San Francisco 2014 meeting.
